To co dnes uvidíme z JWST je něco. Mám ale obavu že to nebude mít úplně ty "koule" pro širokou veřejnost. Slibuji ale, že zítřek potěší rozhodně všechny.

(1/2) Skvělé novoroční zprávy. Kosmický dalekohled Jamese Webba na přelomu roku roztáhl svůj sluneční štít a vykonal tak jednu z velmi obávaných a kritických činností. 30. prosince 2021 v 19:30 SEČ začalo vytahování pětidílného teleskopického nosníku na levoboku JWST.

(1/2) Po mnoha neúspěších a odkladech se to konečně povedlo. Společnost Astra Space, Inc. @Astra dnes úspěšně vypustila kosmickou nosnou raketu a stala se osmou soukromou společností, která dosáhla této mety.

Woot! @Astra finally get a payload to orbital velocity - hopefully they have some paying customers ready to start using this capability.

@Narada_GoodNewz @memcculloch Maybe this fact can be hidden mechanism behind QI: higher acceleration means higher chance, that the circle trajectory will be perfect. Like curved trajectory having access to less precise Pi, than surface of distant horizon...

@memcculloch Remember also that the idea of a circle makes no sense, literally, at that level. A perfect circle CANNOT EXIST in real life.

I'm working on a derivation of #QI that should be acceptable to all physicists. I've spent all morning agonising about a silly factor of two related to deciding how small the smallest object can be? Radius = Planck length?, Diameter? Circumference?

@memcculloch Your hobby marks the threshold between ages. Quantized Inertia goes very far towards disassembling the universe... A look under the hood!

#QI started just as a fun hobby for me. Over time it's grown, others joined in, it's been funded, recognised as endangering old physics, gained opponents, offered launch, interstellar travel.. I sometimes panic at the difficulties, but it is still a joy &, wow, what #QI could do!

@memcculloch #QI should predict both observations and experimental results. Significantly. I suggest scale consideration. Galaxies are giant antennae, listening to galaxy sized quantum waves. Stars can shield star sized quantum waves. Atoms... that's not as easy. Photons are tricky.

@Caemyr @titan2icbm @elonmusk @jeff_foust I was imagining this option rather for unmanned probes, like Europa, Titan or Enceladus landers or interstellar probe. Manned missions are also cool, but major discoveries can't be expected, unfortunately (at least not on Moon...)
