Freeports to cost businesses that export £35bn in extra tariffs ... I have an idea, why not join a tariff free single market on our doorstep where we designed the rules and have access to 400m+ consumers instead

As well as being zones for reducing rights and undercutting excluded local businesses, Freeports might not be all that ‘free’ either. Just another example of ‘Sounds good. Is actually shit’.... which is why we binned them when we were in the EU. (Times)
