@RSPN_Hideouts game is alright, performance lacks, 5070 ti getting 120-160fps on ultra low, imagine what people are getting on lower end pcs that will make majority of the player base

Played Marathon for 9 hours last night. Has exponentially more depth than other extraction shooters I've been playing. From player classes, to faction missions/ skill trees/ stores, weapon customizations/ enhancements, runner enhancements, much stronger AI enemies. Not to mention ranked. It feels like a strong mixture of several titles that creates a different experience when put together. Extremely solid game with a very bright future, especially with speed of updates we have seen from the team. The negativity seems completely misplaced imo. It feels like people didn't make it into skill tree unlocks or higher tier armor and gear before they went onto socials to join a hate train 😅

My initial review of @MarathonTheGame for anyone who cares: I just want to be able to click on the big red button that tells me my contract is complete, and then have it take me to the redeem page. Is that so hard? Fun game. Me do want play more.

@druzine Nah I agree game looks fire but wish I def had some better performance especially trying to play on a 240hz monitor

@Tekcro its a server slam test and it came out 12 hours ago, i dont think its been played enough for anyone to give its depth a fair shake. people complaining that it looks like shit were never going to like the game to begin with imo

@Mendo @CalCameron_ @TTrebb It’s straight up the first day and comparing it to delta force is a bad comparison, just wait until you play ranked, delta force has the worst ranked system and this is coming from someone who has 600 hours and a 8kd on delta, marathon is mid not bad by any means

@CalCameron_ @TTrebb i play delta force, which is a very PvP focused and sweaty extraction game, Marathon is extremely casual and it's just a bullet sponge simulator unfortunately

Is Marathon good?

Marathon is a solid 6/10 has a lot of room to improve, I’m not blown away, the game itself is quite bad if you take away the art style
