Today we witnessed something truly touching. A few young children from our community were seen sitting near the Mellacheruvu lake area in Tellapur, patiently picking up plastic waste and cleaning the surroundings. They were not asked to do it. They simply felt responsible for their environment. Seeing children take such effort for our community is both heartwarming and humbling. When our little ones care so deeply about keeping our surroundings clean, it reminds us that we, as adults, must do better. Let us pause and reflect — if these children can spend their time cleaning plastic waste, the least we can do is ensure we do not litter in the first place. We sincerely request all residents: • Please avoid throwing plastic and garbage in open areas or near the lake • Dispose waste responsibly and encourage others to do the same • Support and appreciate the spirit shown by these young children Their small act carries a powerful message for all of us. This year too several illegal extraction points are operating. Water tankers without number plates often move through wrong routes and are damaging public roads. We request authorities to seize illegal extraction points, water tankers, and take strict action against lands where repeated violations occur. #GroundwaterProtection

In the RWA meeting held yesterday, the issue of pollution was discussed. The Deputy Commissioner assured that a meeting will be convened with the builders responsible for the dust pollution on RR30 Extension Road. She further stated that a time-bound solution will be developed and that the situation will be monitored regularly until the issue is fully resolved.

Today Morning the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC), Patancheru Circle, organized a meeting today with Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) to discuss key civic issues and collaborative initiatives for community development. Key points discussed during the meeting: Waste Management: CMC expressed its willingness to provide financial support to communities that are ready to establish in-house waste processing units within their localities. Garbage Dumping on Roads: Citizens were requested to help identify individuals dumping waste or debris on roads. The officials assured that strict fines will be imposed on violators, and CMC will ensure daily or immediate clearance of garbage upon receiving information. Greenery and Park Development: A few locations have been identified for developing greenery and parks. Communities were requested to extend their cooperation in maintaining the greenery in nearby areas. Clearing of Drains near RR30 Extension: The officials assured that the drains (ducks) adjacent to RR30 Extension road will be cleared with the support of the R&B Department.
