Memphis is hiring veteran NFL assistants Kerry Joseph and Bryan Bing, a source tells @CBSSports. Joseph, who worked at Texas in 2025, was previously quarterbacks coach for the Bears. Bing was most recently an assistant defensive line coach for the Cowboys and Bears.

Memphis is expected to hire Matt Harper as an assistant special teams coordinator, a source tells @CBSSports. Spent the last 13 years coaching at the NFL level, including most recently as an assistant special teams coach with the Rams. Previously worked for the 49ers and Eagles.
