As as new grad GC this was the first time I’ve attended NSGC in person and I had such an amazing time! So many interesting talks and many things I need to go back and watch online. I am exhausted (take Monday off next time, future me) but it was well worth it #GCchat #NSGC22

@JuCooCGC Had patients bright and early ar 8:15 this morning and my plane didn’t land until 10:30 last night. Promptly fell asleep for 2 hrs on my couch after work today 😅

Real talk: mentally, physically, emotionally exhausted post #NSGC22. Apt is a mess, no groceries, sooo many emails and results to call out. Full clinic tomorrow. Framing it as: I am grateful to be in this position. Going to let the dust settle with a refreshed perspective.

@DenaSWinchester @Kelsie_McVeety Lol yeah when I worked in research we had those giant PPD (or other similar labs) styrofoam shipping boxes for samples too lol. They took up SO much space to store and I felt so awkward when we had to mail them out

@Kelsie_McVeety @lizmizerik Lol husband and I are the same way. together for 6 years before we got married and lived together for 4.5 of them. only thing that changed from one day to the next was that we had a party with friends/family. Few days later we went back to our typical routines haha

I don’t drink alcohol so usually get cranberry & sprite or sparkling water with lime when I’m at an event with a bar. What other suggestions would people have for tasty non-boozy things that feel fancier than just a pop?
