All of today’s trade and tariff chaos could have been avoided if Mark Carney had kept his promise to “negotiate a win” and get a deal by July 21st.
But his weak diplomacy and broken promises have left Premiers no choice but to take things into their own hands.

Our ancestors built Canada out of an untamed wilderness. They didn't steal it. Land acknowledgments stem from resentment of this civilization. Canadians shouldn't feel ashamed of their history; they should be proud of it.

Breaking-BC Premier David Eby announced his Govt will spend $15 million to advance a 25,000 MW wind and solar project in Alberta to ship renewable energy back to BC.
He demanded Alberta immediately end its “ no more renewables” legislation, which he said had cost tens of thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in investment.
Although he had no private sector proponent and no specific location for the project, Eby said the very fabric of Confederation depended on Premier Smith immediately approving the project.
