Initial Super Heavy V3 and Starbase Pad 2 activation campaign complete, wrapping up several days of testing that loaded cryogenic fuel and oxidizer on a V3 vehicle for the first time. While the 10-engine static fire ended early due to a ground-side issue, we saw successful startup on all installed Raptor 3 engines. Next up: preparing the booster for a 33-engine static fire

Both xAI and Meta seem to be falling behind, based on the Grok 4.2 benchmarks and this reporting. Frontier AI models are really a three way race at this point.

Grok is making a big progress, jumping from 1.6% to 15.2% in market share among daily U.S. users of chatbot apps from January 2025 to January 2026.
Daily downloads jumped from about 500,000 at the end of December to nearly 1 million in early January, and during the same period Grok’s market share grew from 12.0% to 15.2%.

- Grok: 1.6% to 15.2% (+850% growth)
- ChatGPT: 69.1% to 45.3% (-34% change)
- Gemini: 14.7% to 25.2% (+71% growth)
- Claude: ~4% (limited data, but +~50% growth per some reports)
