@Dude_Bro64 @PaperhackWriter @MattisRedacted Nice reading comprehension, dipshit. I didn’t say the war didn’t matter on the global stage. I just said it wasn’t a major conflict — i.e., it was brief and relatively bloodless.

@PaperhackWriter @MattisRedacted I love America, and I take joy in our victories, but there were less than 600 total combat casualties in the entire war. That’s like an hour at Gettysburg. It’s a neat historical tidbit, and it’s truly cool to see the army is cowboy uniforms, but it’s not a major conflict.

@MattisRedacted The Second Boer War began the year after the Span-Am War. The US deployed overseas roughly 70,000 soldiers in the Span-Am War. The British, and its Empire allies, deployed more than 500,000 soldiers to South Africa. Yeah, I'm gonna say the Spanish American War is minor.

@walterwhitepill My mom had an Atlas as her daily. It had electric issues. The wipers would randomly turn on and the windows would go down when you hit up sometimes.

@blencka @JacoMajor I’ll be fair and say that the violent crime wasn’t by the water, but it was in an area you’d end up in every now and again if you lived there.

@TeutonBrah @JacoMajor My only point is that you were wrong about a nearby grocery store, walkability and I would say your exposure to violent crime was an anomaly 👍🏼

@TedHitchcockk @baltimoreafcb @JacoMajor To be fair, I’m comparing the food to Charleston and Savannah. The food wasn’t bad, but everything was heavy on oils and light on fish. I was expecting a better soft shell sandwich as well.

@TeutonBrah @baltimoreafcb @JacoMajor Rat closed in 2021, so many amazing restaurants- many nominated for James beard awards. Cats Eye is filled with 25-35 on a Friday-Sunday. Sure you have “boomers” but it’s 70-80s cover bands Not even mentioning canton square

@TedHitchcockk @baltimoreafcb @JacoMajor The food was mid at best, and the bars were over crowded and didn’t have much to do. Wharf Rat was okay because it had a pool table. Admiral’s Cup had a nice crowd, but it took ten minutes to get a drink. Cat’s Eye was pretty, but full of boomers.

@blencka @JacoMajor I wasn’t aware of the Whole Foods. Not exactly the most economical place to shop, though. I stayed on the corner of Gough and Wolfe. There was a rough housing project two blocks away. I wouldn’t call the place a shit hole, but I also wouldn’t call it up and coming

@TeutonBrah @JacoMajor Interesting you had these experiences in a 7 day span while I never once witnessed gunfire or a robbery in 7 years of living downtown. There’s a Whole Foods 8 mins by foot west of FP. It’s ~ 35 min walk to Canton, stadiums, etc from Fells. Water taxi can easily take you elsewhere

@kyprobassangler Slowly, I’m working to get all my baitcasters to be Shimano Currados. I’m all Diawa on my spinning reels currently. Fly rods and reels are an eclectic mess, though.

Do you prefer all Your rods and reels be the same so it feels the same in your hand if you switch up or do you mix and match your rods and reels . For Me I like all of mine to feel the same and I like 7’ med heavy and high speed reels . FishOn 🎣🎣🎣

Traffic is a psychic attack on the American Saxon. Allowing primitives access to motor vehicles is yet another humiliation ritual we are subject to.

@PatriotTho42773 @theoldworldshow You slandered the dead You provided no facts besides an incorrect figure and vague “mosts” You failed to understand the concept of the M-Dix line as separating north and south and MD falling below You relied on ad hominem and platitude This was embarrassing for you

Although eager to lead an assault on the nation's capital, the devout General Jackson, hot and dusty from combat, suddenly realized that he had forgotten something. Next day he wrote his pastor in Lexington: "In my tent last night, after a fatiguing day's service, I remembered that I failed to send you my contribution to our colored Sunday school. Enclosed you will find my check for that object." "A fatiguing day's service!" That was Jackson's sole reference to one of the decisive battles in American history, a battle in which he had been a hero. From: Virginia: The New Dominion by Dabney

@PatriotTho42773 @theoldworldshow Your inability to provide facts and your reliance on ad hominem and platitudes are your weaknesses. I’ve followed the logic — what little you’ve provided amongst your though-terminating cliches, perfectly fine. You’re a hateful mid-wit. I’ll see you in hell.

@TeutonBrah @theoldworldshow Your fear of facts is both astounding and your weakness. Your critical thinking deficit fails you, evident from your inability to follow the logic of a dialogue. However, I appreciate you affirming that the Confederacy fought to preserve slavery. Class dismissed.
