@furmsies Hes not going to win the hart, because theres actually players who are exceeding in that category this season (Kucheroc, Celebrini). Bouchard elevated his play halfway through the season, and even Oil fans were screaming his name went he went full ass the first half.

McDavid won't win the Hart because "well you can't always give it to him" Makar will win the Norris because "well you always have to give it to him" Explain to me this logic.

@NHLRumourReport I honestly feel like most of the Americans were the problem. Its like they had a clique or something, and it caused turmoil in the room. Brock and Demko dont count. Look at 40/6, theyve turned it around (albeit too late) and the team is having fun again.

@ChrisConte79 I do agree. But if we are honest , Washington wasted the career of Ovi and Vancouver did the same with Hugh’s. I know Ovi won 1 cup but cmon EDM has been in two straight cup finals and one cup only a goal difference in game 7 . And Vancouver blew their team up.

Not an Oilers fan, but wasting the primes of McDavid and Draisaitl with goaltending like Skinner, and now Jarry, is borderline criminal.

@Karan8263 @Oilers1827 Thats cool, it worked out for Podz in Edmonton. Petey has never had a premium winger on his line. He was paid for potential. And hes put up big numbers before. Regardless, I dont think anyone takes Podz over Petey in a draft scenario.

@TopTierPucks Team Canada didn't need another Oiler that accepts losing. Makar is a proven winner, and is the only reason we made it to OT.

I was told for months that Bouchard wasn’t good enough for Canada and would cost them the tournament. Makar was the #1 of a superteam and they just lost to USA. He is the opposite of clutch and isn’t even comparable to Bouchard. Makar failed his country and lost them Gold.
