@JoshJohnsWx @TxStormChasers I would’ve say mad. I’m not sure how to put it but the SPC is having a rough year. Several moderate busts this year. Its becoming a little silly honestly. That’s the word. Silly.

For everyone that was mad “we didn’t get anything in dfw “ yesterday - this is how close it was. Little changes to how storms “initiate” can’t be forecast. You can only watch how they evolve. Metroplex was close to getting softball hail and tornadoes. Can only prepare.

Shocking. I will easily produce these crap forecasts for WAY less than the “meteorologist” do. How the SPC has two major busts in back to back days is laughable.

Upgrade to a level 4, Mod. risk does NOT mean that storms will be worse than we've been discussing. It DOES mean that the threat for very large hail is highlighted a little more. Looking at early afternoon for redevelopment north; rush hour for DFW. Storms won't be for everyone

Sadly todays severe weather will be focused right on the DFW metro, and could be very significant. Up to 3-4inch hail possible along with a possible strong tornado threat due to proximity to a OFB Multiple supercells with a all-hazards threat STAY WEATHER AWARE THIS AFTERNOON!
