@redraiderman1 Earl Campbell and Kevin Durant would disagree. Or do you just not know how to read a Venn diagram?

Texas HC Jim Schlossnagle addresses the media ahead his return to Texas A&M. Schlossnagle emphasizes his respect for the 12th man/A&M and he’s not nervous to return to College Station.

@JaneyIsPresent I find the concept of the Pope choosing pro-abortion Talarico as his running mate to be hilariously ridiculous.

@mingeynahanim @JayCaruso I don't think you and I agree on what pulp is. When I think "pulp" I imagine early 20th century short novels like "Princess of Mars" by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The kinds of novels/novellas that sometimes would have been published in newspapers. Also, what you mean by great?

@TexasDuckling12 @JayCaruso The Da Vinci code, which is pulp, is significantly longer, so I disagree. I think it’s neither the ‘best’ nor the ‘greatest’. The idea that a pulp novel can’t tackle larger themes (not that it’s a particularly thematically rich text) is also silly. The godfather for example?

@mingeynahanim @JayCaruso I disagree. I think it's one of the best novels of its time. Now, is it one of the greatest novels ever? Is it up there with Tolstoy? No. But it's also a different category of novel. I wouldn't call it pulpy, it's too lengthy and wrestles with too many great ideas to be pulpy.

@realJoshMahler As much as I want the OU softball dynasty to be over. I agree that one year is not enough. Here's to a repeat for the Lady Longhorns though 🤘

Yeah… ‘just hills’ that top out over 8,000 ft in the middle of the desert. Casual.

@realSiLeNTxGuRu As a Texan who has lived in Seattle and Montana.....No, Texas has some hills, but that's about it.

@flatland_sports Bro, Texas tried to schedule Texas A&M three separate times after this. You cannot be serious.

If you're Texas, there's only two teams on your non-conference schedule. Teams that you wouldn't be embarrassed if you lost to. Ohio State, Notre Dame etc And teams that you don't think you can lose to. UTSA, Rice etc. Texas will never schedule a competitive opponent (especially not a rival) that could potentially embarrass them. That's why yall dodged A&M for 10+ years before the SEC.
Atticus Sappington@AtticusSaplkxe

@RaiderCats123 @flatland_sports Yeah bro, that’s it, nobody wants to play tech because they are scared. Then why are teams scheduling actual elite programs instead?

You’re lying to yourself if you don’t believe the Big 10 has surpassed the SEC as the premiere athletic conference.
