The Oakland County Board of Commissioners removed the first public comment to prevent residents from speaking out about surveillance drones.
The board approved the drone contract with Flock even among immense public backlash.
This resulted in a very heated meeting with residents interrupting with boos and chants to “vote them out.” Eventually when public comment did open up at the end, it lasted 3.5 hours due to tensions boiling over.
