The word “Catholic” was not initially intended to represent a denomination. It reflected the universal presence of Christ’s church everywhere.
Many Roman Catholics make the mistake of anachronism, which is reading their modern conception of that word into ancient writings.

After watching @JustinPetersMin’s “clouds without water,” JMac’s “strange fire” conference, and the “American gospel” doc, I left my word of faith charismatic church and started searching for a solid church.
After months of searching, I walked into my church for the first time, and knew I was home after hearing them sing beautiful hymns and preach the word faithfully. I began to cry tears of joys there in the pew. I love my church family so much!

@RevivedThoughts IDK. Having kids is a young person's game, and right now that demographic is facing huge issues in being able to get employment. Not to mention the housing prices and interest rates they are faced with. It's different now. I can see why they're nervous about it.

I just spent 2 incredible weeks in Italy and it is so frustrating to come back to the U.S…
How is it possible @RobertKennedyJr that the Italian food supply is so vastly superior.
I literally ate bread at every meal, dessert multiple times per day, and generally ate way more than I do in the U.S.
Not once did I have acid reflux. Not one headache, no digestive problems, and I didn’t gain any weight.
If I ate the same way in the U.S. (I used to at times) I would have gone through a full bottle of Tums and Advil just to get through the day…
WHY does the U.S. allow glyphosate in wheat, high fructose corn syrup in food and who knows what in our milk products?
The difference in quality of life in Italy vs the U.S. is staggering from their common sense (anti corporate) food regulation.
WHY aren’t more people upset about this?
The U.S. is the richest country in the world and we eat like one of the poorest.

And every time they are hyped-up emotional rituals with zero confirmable miraculous events. Even worse, I have yet to see one that preaches expositional, from the text, gospel centric sermons.
