@ThDooley Since I stopped coaching my kids’ teams, I work with them on the mental side. Softly. We watch soccer for fun live and on tv, we watch clips to learn, we read books and work on mental toughness and resilience techniques for sport and life.

When you think about it, Soccer is based on 4 pillars. Technique, Tactic, Fitness, and Mental. How much time did your child spend on the first 3 pillars, and how much was spent on the mental part? That is precisely where the difference is between a great and a good player.
