Here’s my take as someone that was a big Xbox fan for the OG and the 360. When the One got announced and it was clear MS missed the mark compared to PS4, I questioned people’s “gamer credibility” if they told me they had a One and not a PS4. It was kind of like, okay this person must be a casual because how do you choose an Xbox over a PS4 right now? The only people at work I knew that chose Xbox last gen were typically the Call of Duty/Madden crowd, and so to me they didn’t seem like “serious” gamers, or just misinformed. Obviously that’s just my personal opinion, but I do think it’s indicative of how much MS lost the plot. Attached pic is the exact moment PlayStation slayed the Xbox.

What followed was even more disturbing. Violence at a protest is never acceptable. The attempt to use an explosive device and hurt others is not only criminal, it is reprehensible and the antithesis of who we are.
I want to thank the brave men and women of the NYPD who acted quickly to keep New Yorkers safe. Our officers ran toward danger without hesitation, demonstrating once again the courage and dedication it takes to protect this city every single day.
My administration is closely monitoring the situation and I remain in close contact with our Police Commissioner.

This stuff is real, it exists, you can actually buy it, and yet the VR market is almost dead.
What happened to the kids in the 90s who dreamed about this possibility? Why do modern kids now go crazy for games where you don’t really do anything, where at most you just swipe up and down, or spend their time screaming in stupid games that require no concentration, like amoebas with no curiosity? This stuff finally f***ing exists, and yet the videogame market pretends it’s invisible.
