Several years ago the govt opened a scheme for highly skilled migrants to settle in the UK. Today, many we’ve spoken to tell us they wish they’d never made the trip having been subject to what they say is unfair treatment by the Home Office which has left them on the edge.

A win today for @OpenRightsGroup, @the3million & @LeighDay_Law but most importantly for migrants! ✊🏼 The Court of Appeal has found the UK immigration exemption (which removes key data protection rights from all UK residents, including British citizens) to be unlawful & excessive.

Kenya has formally communicated to @Refugees its decision to close Dadaab & Kakuma camps by 30 June 2022. Among the precursory activities in GoK's roadmap is repatriation of refugees to countries of origin & socioeconomic integration of some of them through Work/Residence Permits
