@lollylolly2017 But if she is on the test she isn’t sat outside for 40 minutes. Come the rain or winter when she and the examiner get in the car damp and it steams up causing her to panic being unable to clear the windows and fails for it then it’s going to be a problem.

Tbh my daughter wouldn’t care about waiting outside or even in her car as she needs to pass her test to add to her police application! She had one test May12 and one August 5th both postponed

As @DVSAgovuk continue with redundancies, they insist that 'Employee relations have been at an all-time high'. Yet DVSA workers continue to contact me in despair, saying they feel let down by the Government. The Government should be creating jobs, not slashing them @pcs_union

@Lazza_J @Lazza_J Due to social distancing measures, theory test centres are offering fewer tests than normal. We're working with Pearson VUE to open as many remaining centres as possible to increase the number of available appointments, and to reduce waiting times for pupils.

“After careful consideration, the @GOVUK has decided not to extend theory test certificates due to the impact on road safety.” But extending MOT certificates which are carried out annually has absolutely no consequence on #roadsafety but a theory test which is taken once does?

It’s time for the @DVSAgovuk, @transportgovuk and @grantshapps to pull their fingers out their arses and sort out testing then. It’ll help build up their revenue streams by forcing people who had tests booked in sufficient time to retake their theory.

Things the @DVSAgovuk have done: ✅ Ballsed up the rebooking of tests ✅ Sent emails to candidates with other people’s names on ✅ Demonstrated an arrogant attitude ✅ Adapted their rules to suit them - Examiners can do Standards Checks/Part3 but instructors can’t accompany tests

Things the @DVSAgovuk haven’t done: ❌ Extended Learners theory certs ❌ Extended the photo card licence inline with full licences ❌ Communicated effectively throughout ❌ Provided actual guidance to ADIs (Gov provided info to hairdressers and others 🤷‍♂️)

The @DVSAgovuk were so busy telling people that lessons couldn’t resume when they should have been concentrating on how testing was going to be sorted! Emails still got going out. Misinfo on their website on the process and incorrect names on emails #Shambles #GetYourHouseInOrder

@studidit @DVSAgovuk @ICOnews I’m the same. Still waiting for an email for a test that was scheduled for 19th March?! Local examiners are telling instructors there’s lots of availability but nobody is booking them! That’s because we’re all still waiting for emails

Hi @ICOnews. The @DVSAgovuk are currently sending emails to driving test candidates with the names of other candidates allowing them to book a new practical test date. Is this a data breach?

So @DVSAgovuk are emailing candidates based on the test application date rather than the date of their practical test. Candidates are receiving emails with different names on to their own. What level of incompetence are they running at! Surely the wrong names is a GDPR breach!
