This American band formed in Los Angeles in 1981 as the name the Salvation Army but changed their name in 1982. ‘Her Head's Revolving’ was released in 1985. Lead singer and bassist Michael Quercio is credited with coining the term "Paisley Underground". 👉🏻 Name the band.

@The3Oclock @OneOutOf4 There is nothing wrong with it. I'm not criticizing. I would never do that. It takes courage to be yourself no matter what yourself is. They just happen to be the gheyist rock band I've ever seen.

@The3Oclock I still have my personalized autographed album from all of you. My uncle worked at a record store in LA and gave me this as a gift in the 80’s. I blacked out my name because I don’t use my real name on here.

@OneOutOf4 More like Pansy Underground. This group had a serious testosterone deficiency.

@Everydayjoypain Paisley Underground was a very small scene that was really based in Los Angeles, not some bands across the country.

A lot of Paisley Underground can be summed up as “less good R.E.M.” but Game Theory was more progressive and experimental while still bringing the pop as shown on their first song from their debut album (82) youtu.be/5vaIuJuexUc?si…

Game Theory - Erica’s Word (1986) Originally from Davis, California and associated with the Paisley Underground movement the band moved to the Bay Area in 85. Paisley Underground was known for its 60s influence through a modern lens where punk exists. youtu.be/iXGG-8aGXqo?si…
