Time to speak my mind. I do not know who “decided” it was time to take Scott down, but count me out. I began my involvement with @EarlyVoteAction in October ‘24. I was sitting on my couch in Sorrento, Florida and read one of Scott’s post. I’ll never forget it. “Praying my tires hold up…” Up until that point, I grew up volunteering at Republican headquarters in Greenville, Kentucky as an adolescent. In my adult life, I worked on Gov Ehrilch’s, Michael Steele’s, and John White’s campaigns in Maryland. In Florida I was much more focused on work than politics. I was familiar with @ScottPresler ‘s work, but thought it was too far away to be involved. Turns out it was not. I still have family in Maryland and our Florida based Spirit Airlines can get me back and forth for about $100. I began going back and forth then driving up to Pennsylvania to help out anyway I could. I had bought into the main stream narrative that President Trump could lose the election if he didn’t win PA. I was not worried about Florida. I first met Scott at a Trump rally in State College, PA. I was one of over 1,600 people who donated to get him a new truck. I was there the day he picked it up. Up until that point he was driving around PA in a hand me down Honda Civic which was well beyond its prime. I stood on the side of the road with Scott and with other members of Early Vote Action @Eduke15 . What about the thousands and thousands of Trump signs that were handed out? What about all the McCormick signs handed out? I have said many times it’s not all about one particular thing that makes the outcome work. It’s about the total effort. President Trump may have won without the effort of EVA, but I do not believe McCormick would be a senator today without the support. I did not think anything more about political involvement until President Trump named my congressional representative to be his National Security Advisor. After seeing the grassroots efforts in person in PA, I wanted to make a difference in my community. I believe a congressional representative should build a sense of community and connect with people. Thus I ran for my congressional seat. Without meeting the Early Vote Action team and Scott, I would have never had the courage to step up and serve my community. I have met other candidates and believe more in grassroots movements now more than ever. During my campaign, I spoke extensively about J6 prisoners and the need for immediate release of all prisoners. I still believe the federal government needs to go further than a pardon and figure out compensation for destroying their families. I am truly sorry for the years of pain they have all suffered. I support Scott, Early Vote Action, and the restoration of the lives of the J6 and their families. The Republican Party needs to have a big sit down and get on the same page quickly or it’s going to be a huge midterm wake-up. May God continue to bless everyone involved.
