@qatarairways why has no announcement been made in Kathmandu for the delay known for about an hour for the 19:05 flight to Doha? And no timeline given for the delay on the screens?

@TheAfricanPaddy @qatarairways Kathmandu airport is not operating and flights are being diverted because of issues with the runway lights. Knowing that airport it’s going to take a while to resolve (I used to live there)

@FineGael How do you expect people who earn so called good money to save for a deposit when half of their pay each month is taken in tax? Extraordinarily high tax on extraordinarily low wages. Prices in Ireland not too different to those in Switzerland, yet I'm taxed considerably less here

@TheAfricanPaddy This is technically a stopover. You’ll collect your baggage after immigration clearance and do another check-in for your next flight later. You can keep your luggage at the airport and make use of our left luggage service at Dubai Airport for a charge. More about this 1/2

@EmiratesSupport Ahh okay, it's that simple so 😅 and would my luggage go straight through to my final destination or would I have to deal with during the night (or two) in dubai? Most likely Tokyo to Zurich if it makes a difference

@EmiratesSupport Hi, I'm looking to go to Japan from Switzerland around March of next year. What is the amount of items I can check? Within my total allowance of course. Is there a restriction on the amount of sports luggage,i.e ski-bags? Does any of this change with cabin class?
