Giannis trade this summer is just so logical in the sense of 1) the entire reason to stockpile assets is to have a chance to trade for a top 3 player and 2) Sengun is the odd man out due to not fitting with Amen on offense and Reed on defense.
The reason I’m betting against it right now is that it very rapidly starts the clock on expectations which the Rockets are very clearly trying to slow walk as long as possible (as evidenced by their inactivity this season). This is not even mentioning the financial ramifications.
