@TheAngeryAmeric This is theater for all the reasons you mentioned. I know more about this topic than your average follower. No british (or American, even euro companies listed on American stock exchanges) are going through. The us navy needs to take at least a trial run first.

Same. My wife doesn't work. She doesn't need to. I make the money and I manage it. Though she has access to most, not all. I have two companies that she doesn't have access to. Not for anything nefarious, it's business. Personal accounts are open and shared. I too have substantial life insurance for her. She gets what she wants most of the time. I'm rather simple and don't spend much. On the occasion I do she knows about it. How do some women think they are oppressed by a man that provides for every facet of their lives?

I make more than that. My wife doesn't have free access to the money. I pay the bills, and she gets a budget for groceries. She also gets whatever she wants. The difference here, I suspect, is that my wife is disciplined enough, and loves me enough, to discuss with me any large purchase she wants to make. And when it's particularly large, I don't say 'no', but I do tell her when she'll be able to make the purchase, because I work from a budget, and need to budget for it. I.e., the problem in the QP isn't the husband.

Why don’t more people get involved in the 2A movement? Exhibit A: ⬇️ This person (anonymously, of course) is my heckler. Everyone, meet my hater ass heckler. People like this are a reason people no longer want to get involved in community and public service. Because there is always some rude, miserable hater who will find a way to complain, judge, harass, and insult those who are willing to take risks and do something for the greater benefit of society rather than themselves. It’s very rare that I flex or pop my shit for the peanut gallery, because frankly I don’t need your approval or applause, but don’t think because I don’t boast brag or clout chase that I’m not a force multiplier. I have and continue to make progress regardless if you, or others validate it. The truth is, most of the wins and progress made you have never seen me try to brag on - I know who I am. I know what I’ve done and do. Those who matter know it as well. Plenty of change and progress exits bc of foundations and challenges I helped create and implement. I don’t need your thank you or your recognition bc I didn’t do it for that- I did it because it’s the righteous and morally correct thing to do. My thank you? When the result I coordinated crosses the finish line. Imagine complaining about people’s work anonymously from the side lines instead of owning your own actions or lack there of from a place of observation rather than action - then wondering why people don’t want to do diddly squat for you. The internet is wild. You have the same 24 hours in a day I do - Whats your excuse?

I'm fine with this part, my exp with the system was a mixed bag though. 1. VA Civ psych vocalized wanting to sleep with me 2nd visit 2. VA war vet psych was great, rage quit VA sub six months 3. Community Care war vet psych was great, left practice, we get a beer once or twice a year.

Deport this traitorous bitch.
REPUBLIC OF SOMALILAND@RepOfSomaliland

Receipts part 2: To the American people: Listen closely. This isn't about politics—it's about truth, justice, and the blood-soaked history your taxes help hide. We in Republic of Somaliland have carried the scars of genocide for decades. Now, one of your Congresswomen walks boldly into the lion's den... and smiles. Why? Because she's no prey—she's royalty. Her true name? Ilhan Nur Said Elmi. Father? Nur Said Elmi (aka Nur Omar), Colonel in Siad Barre's army. Soviet-trained. Part of the command that turned Hargeisa into rubble. Tens of thousands—up to 200,000 Isaaq civilians—bombed, executed, raped, starved in the late '80s. We call it the Isaaq Genocide. The world still looks away. The mastermind? Major General Mohammed Said Hersi "Morgan"—"The Butcher of Hargeisa." Barre's son-in-law. On tape: "Kill the wounded. Poison wells. Burn villages. Leave nothing but crows." His forces kidnapped, tortured, disappeared thousands in Somaliland. Families still search for mass graves. December 2022: Ilhan Omar flies to Somalia, the headquarters of the old regime's loyalists, where many of those war-era figures and their networks still hold sway. The same region that sheltered remnants after Barre fell. Wouldn't a Congresswoman—especially one claiming to be a refugee from that very regime's terror—be target number one in the kidnapping capital of the region? Yes. Yet she arrives, attends events, gets honored... no fear, no incident. But she's no ordinary congresswoman—she's the regime's royalty. At an official event thrown in her honor she's seated just seats away from the Butcher himself—Gen. Morgan. Photos don't lie. Her siblings pose smiling beside him like family. No fear. No hiding. No bodyguards glancing over shoulders. Why? Because she's not escaping the past—she's returning to it. Royalty among the remnants. Think: If her family were genuine victims fleeing Barre's collapse in '91—running from Mogadishu to camps—why return to the heart of the old power, cozy up to the man who orchestrated the nightmare her people endured? A real refugee would be hunted, targeted. Instead, she's welcomed, honored, unafraid. She condemns violence in Gaza, Ukraine, Iran—demands justice abroad. But on the genocide her own family served? Silence. On reuniting with the Butcher of Hargeisa ? Crickets. Somaliland remembers every grave, every burned village, every missing name. America, you gave her refuge, power, a voice. Now ask: Whose truth is she telling? Today, she wields her power as a Congresswoman not for justice, but for injustice—to block the only democratic, free country in the Horn of Africa the Republic of Somaliland. We've built an army and security forces that keep out pirates, al-Shabaab terrorists and to protect our women and children from Somalia if they try to erase us again. We stand as a beacon of stability in a chaotic region. We've achieved what few thought possible: Multiple peaceful, multi-party elections with regular transfers of power And in a world-first innovation, we pioneered iris-based biometric voter registration—the most advanced system globally—to ensure fair, duplicate-free elections and build unbreakable trust in our democracy. yet she uses American influence to block our growth, block justice, and deny us the recognition we earned through blood and progress. We were once a recognized country. In 1960, the U.S. Secretary of State Christian Herter sent a congratulatory letter to our Council of Ministers on our independence from Britain. Over 35 countries—including United States, United Kingdom, France, Soviet Union recognized the State of Somaliland. Later we entered a failed, corrupt union with Somalia in good faith—but that merger was never legally ratified. The Act of Union was never properly signed, harmonized, or ratified by both sides as a single binding document. Somaliland's legislature passed one version but Somalia approved a different one "in principle" and never enacted it fully. No mutual ratification, no valid treaty under international law. The union was defective from day one—yet we suffered its consequences for decades. Democrats have looked away for far too long. Now it's up to the Republican Party and President Donald J. Trump to take a stand. We ask for the ultimate payback. Recognize the Republic of Somaliland, and the world will follow—America's path of justice. Republic of Somaliland is ready to stand as a partner for freedom, security, and democracy. The crows still circle Hargeisa's ruins. Your Congresswoman posed with their keeper. Time for truth, recognition, and justice. #RecognizeSomaliland #IsaaqGenocide

@newstart_2024 My shorts have "scrotal cooling" built in. The diamond-gusseted crotch allows for freedom of movement and breathes in all the right places. This combined with the stretch panel in the lower back gives you an overall cooler experience, especially when you're active.

Hot baths & saunas nuke your sperm count — Andrew Huberman warns guys trying to conceive to be careful. “The testicles are kept outside the body for a reason. Heat kills viable sperm. Some men even wear cooling gel underwear (Snowballs) to try to boost spermatogenesis and testosterone — people post blood work showing it works, but no peer-reviewed studies yet.” Sperm production requires ~2–4 °C below core body temperature. Prolonged heat exposure (hot tubs, saunas, laptops on lap, tight underwear) can drop count by 40–50% temporarily; full recovery often takes 3–6 months. Men trying for kids: Do you avoid hot baths/saunas completely? Or have you tried scrotal cooling — and did you see any real difference in labs / fertility markers? Your experience 👇

In Florida all this means is you're sent to a forensic psychiatric unit until they can figure out the right cocktail of drugs to put you on to declare your fit to stand trial. I've been in some bad jails and prisons. But those units scare the shit out me. They aren't prisoners, their patients, and have more freedom. Only place I demanded to be escorted by staff.

As a society, we'll lobby hard to abort a baby based on pre-natal tests that show the baby has a chance of being born with some disorder or defect, while lobbying even harder to allow psychotic monsters to walk freely among us. Insanity.
Matt Walsh@MattWalshBlog

The whole concept of an “insanity plea” is total nonsense. If someone is too delusional to understand that they aren’t supposed to randomly shoot people, that’s all the more reason to simply execute them. Society is not morally obligated to keep psychotic killers alive until they die of old age. It’s madness.

Same. I recently needed traffic signs for two trucks. I could order from Amazon, but I choose to do business with a small company in Altomonte Springs FL. The lady that owns it is a sweetheart. I placed my order online, about $2500 in signs and cones and the like. She called me the next day to thank me for the order. You don't get that kind of service from Amazon. I was in Tennessee so my brother @BrokenSpokesPro (if you need a podcast producer hit him up) went and picked up the order. When he got there he found the shop had suffered bad smoke damage from a fire and she was operating out of a conex out back. Now I really understood the phone call. That order may have made the difference for the month for her small company. If you safety equipment look up @Safetyer and give her some business. @Safetyer, just found you on X. You have a great store and provide service once considered superior and now a part of history. Keep up the great work!

To add to this: Yall talk alot of hardball about remittances and how it drains the economy...that's what a national chain in your town is. Keep your money local, don't let it get sucked up and shipped out to NY capital management firms or net overseas ownership groups. Don't fall for the honeytrap of "potential tax revenues" or "job creation". The same amount of jobs would be there for a local business. Don't have that kind of business in your town? Get with your friends and start one or recruit someone to start one. Fill those vacant store fronts. You can just do things.
AGAVE@agave_redux

We have kept out McDonald's, Starbucks, all those shitty pop-up all the same ____ businesses as best we can. We support local small businesses aggressively and are as hostile as we have the power to be to as many national chains as we can. Get your friends together and get active in the chamber of commerce, fight the boomer Karens at every turn. It's a gigantic pain the ass and you'll be beating your head against the wall but it's important. There are 2 grocery stores in our entire county, both employee owned regional businesses, no walmarts. Not going to win every battle, there's 3 fucking dollar generals despite our best efforts. But we did close 2 family dollars so there's that. Never stop fighting.
