Our CEO, Katy Neas, met with U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon alongside coalition partners to talk about the future of federal programs that support students with disabilities. We are grateful for every opportunity to highlight the importance of the Dept. of Education.

This is an immensely difficult loss, but know that your efforts made a difference. The Arc’s advocates generated more than 500,000 contacts to Congress this year, and members of Congress from both parties spoke out against these cuts.

This bill will result in millions of people with disabilities losing access to health coverage and food assistance, and it will make it harder for children to access essential special education services.
