Left a few dozen discord servers today… used to basically live there in 2021-2023, made some solid connections and I still believe it’s a powerful tool for some projects that require roles and gated access. Overall, however, it’s burdensome and costly for most small-sized teams to maintain. Had some good times grinding in the past, but I think gated GCs are better suited to the average community needs. Some notable exceptions exist, such as @MamboMakers @TheAtriumDAO @cookoutclubxyz @salvor_io @LFJ_gg and @ferdyfrens. I’m hoping more projects will take advantage of @thearena badge system (especially the tipping feature)!
