Wow. Shocked today to watch the Liberals and NDP vote against protecting the private property rights of Canadian homeowners. When a citizen pays their taxes, follows the law, maintains their property and still cannot be certain that they own their own home, something has gone profoundly wrong. Private property rights are not a luxury, nor an appendage to our system of government. They are not some kind of optional add-on to our society or to our democracy. They are quite literally the foundation on which Western civilization, capitalism and our economy are built. For me, the defence of private property is and always will be a red line. It is in every way a fundamental human right, and we must never submit to trade it away in the name of political convenience. Every citizen deserves to know that their government will do whatever it takes to ensure that Canadians can trust that what they own is truly theirs. Without exception.

My husband @flowidealism went to the University of Chicago to do his PhD specifically to prove the free market economists wrong. He was that committed. He became depressed for two years... Because he learned he'd been lied to his entire life. He went looking for ammunition and came back converted.  Most people avoid that risk. They'd rather keep believing something comfortable than find out it's wrong, because once you see it, you can't go back to not seeing it.

I have to confess this. Indigenous organizations at this point, are doing more harm to indigenous-Canada relations than almost any other organization. It’s Indigenous organizations calling people racist, denialists, white supremacist monsters. Not individual First Nations people. The only ones that do worse is provincial and federal governments. I can’t see how communications like this improve things between everyday First Nations people and everyday Canadians. This type of approach just makes things worse. How you could write that email, and claim to be about “reconciliation” is beyond me. How people can behave like this, and act like they’re on the moral high ground is also beyond me. I feel like all I do lately is talk about the problems, and the nonsense but I feel the obliged to comment to show this is no reflective of Indigenous people and that nonsense should always be called out.
Lindsay Shepherd@NewWorldHominin

I tried asking APTN what their involvement is in the CBC "prank show." Their comms director accidentally sent me an internal email stating that they were going to ignore my inquiry because I'm just a lowly Canadian citizen and not a media outlet (not that they will give a sufficient answer to the media either.) I followed up and asked who I can contact then, and they just didn't respond. It's actually crazy that these taxpayer-supported institutions think that they don't need to answer to anyone. They don't even think I deserve a modicum of an answer to my questions, even though they shouldn't be difficult to respond to.

I held a press conference this morning in Victoria to give a clear update. The allegations swirling around me are completely false. Elections Canada has still not provided any formal or informal notice of any investigation to me or my financial agent. The first I heard of any inquiry was from a media article. More importantly, over 16,000 Conservative Party members have already cast their ballots this weekend. That is incredible momentum and shows the energy building across our province. To every member still voting: your voice matters. Please vote as soon as possible. I respectfully ask you to put me as your first choice, or your second choice if you have someone else in mind for first. I am ready to unify our caucus and our entire party. I will listen to every MLA and every member as we work together to defeat the NDP. To David Eby and the NDP: your time is up. British Columbians have had enough of your terrible public services, massive deficits and debt, failing infrastructure, out-of-control crime, and your refusal to protect basic property rights. We are going to rescue this province. Please vote today. Join me, findlay4bc.ca

I had a dream last night that we traded all the leftists in the US to Canada in return for all the right wing Canadians and… suddenly the US was firing on all cylinders. Everyone was rich and happy and Canada was a giant insane asylum that we got to laugh at. Such a good dream.

There is a lot of noise surrounding the potential US/Iran deal. Here’s what the rumors are so far: - Iran has agreed to give up its stockpile of highly enriched uranium. Iran currently has 400 kg of highly enriched uranium. Enough for 11 nuclear bombs. - The US would begin a phased unfreezing of Iran’s $6b to $30b in cash. - The Strait of Hormuz will open up. - Iran won’t charge a penny for ships to pass through. No $2m toll fee. - The US agrees to relieve some of the sanctions. - War ENDS on all fronts with Lebanon. - US forces near Iran to withdraw. - 30 to 60 days to finalize the nuclear deal. If true, that’s a massive victory for the President. Here are the winners and losers. Winners: 1. American people. Oil prices will likely fall. Shipping insurance costs drop. Inflation pressure eases. 2. The President 3. Global markets. 4. Stock market. 5. Gulf states. Temporary tension eliminated. I have them as both winners and losers. 6. IRGC gains legitimacy. They’re not Venezuela. Whether anyone likes it or not. Including myself. 7. China is a major winner. The Strait of Hormuz hurt them the most. They can spin this to their people that the deal got done after the President left China. 8. Russia relies on Iran being a bit more stable. 9. NATO nations were starting to worry. They were pansies shivering about having to help the US. (They’re also big losers in my eyes) Losers: 1. Iranian people. No one knows what the IRGC will do after this deal to their own people. Their media outlets will say they beat America. That message will 100% be pushed. The Iranian people will be under even more scrutiny by the IRGC. 2. Obama’s administration. This sounds like a much stronger deal than Obama’s administration made. 3. Netanyahu. He wanted regime change or collapse for his legacy, but Trump wasn’t on the same page at the end. 4. NATO was exposed. They showed they don’t have America’s back if shit were to hit the fan. Terrible moment for them. 5. Reza Pahlavi. Another year of not being able to help his people become free. This point will lead to more memes by the RP loyalists but it’s the truth. 6. Gulf states. The IRGC still controls a neighbor capable of firing rockets at surrounding Gulf nations. 7. Iranian proxies and non state actors. Hezbollah, Houthis, and Shia militias will not receive the same funding flow if sanctions are removed under limitations tied to the agreement. 8. Defense contractors and war hawks. They wanted this thing to continue so they could land massive contracts. I’m sure they’re not happy. 9. Oil producers benefiting from high prices. 10. Political extremists on both sides. Those who wanted to see the President lose (woke right) and those pushing for nuclear war. 11. Democrats. They desperately needed this to continue heading into the midterms. They will HATE this deal. Don’t worry, they’ll still find a way to blame Trump. But independents won’t fall for the BS. Democrats and the woke right will follow suit, but not reasonable independents who can see through the nonsense. I predicted this would be done before June 14th. Lots of people pushed back. Obviously, it’s not done yet, and anything can happen, especially when dealing with Iran, but if the President pulls this off, the news outlets, pundits, and influencers will move on to the next issue after they’re done crying nonstop. The greatest 60 days of positive distractions are around the corner. President Trump’s birthday: June 14th US 250 year anniversary: July 4th World Cup: June 11th to July 19th The world will move on, and the President can focus on driving results toward the midterms, Cuba, affordability and other issues. Love him or hate him, he continues to show how fluid his mind is and that he can change his approach depending on whether things do or don’t go his way. Future Looks Bright.

A lot of seething about this article, but the premise is true. Working out is right-wing. Leftist philosophy is all about weakness, equality, hedonism. The Right prioritizes strength, hierarchy, and sacrifice. The pipeline from getting in shape to "wait maybe we shouldn't give away our birthright to foreigners" is surprisingly short.

Voting is open! Naturally, I picked the three who say they will stop child transition! Kerry-Lynne Findlay, Yuri Fulmer, and Caroline Elliott. I will support any of these 3 candidates if they win, so long as they continue to vow to stop the greatest child abuse scandal of our lives. I do have some concern that people on Caroline’s team will want her to avoid this issue, but she is her own person and a mom to small children and I think she’ll come through in the end. They all will, because we the people are never going to stop educating about the terrible harm that is being done to kids. As for Iain Black, he’s on record joining a pile-on of fake news calling me a hateful transphobe, and he tells me it makes sense for some 16-year-olds to maim and chemically castrate themselves. Peter Milobar is a total zero on this issue. They refuse to stand up against this most vile insanity, and shouldn’t appear anywhere on anyone’s ballot.

I sat down at my home with @KerryLynneFindl, candidate for leadership of the BC Conservative Party. She vows to ban child transition! We also discuss getting gender ideology out of schools, parental rights, DRIPA, and more. Thank you to Kerry-Lynne for reaching out to me. Politicians in Canada have ignored this issue for far too long, and it's extremely refreshing to see that change.

The UK housing crisis is not going well. In order to alleviate its acute housing affordability crisis, London has been set a target of building 88,000 new homes per year over the next decade. Last year construction started on just 5,891 – 94% below target, a 75% year-on-year decline, the steepest drop in the country, the lowest tally since records began almost 40 years ago and the lowest figure for any major city in the developed world this century.

This is the best preserved medieval street in Europe. Recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086, The Shambles in York, England has had shops trading on it for nearly a thousand years. It's older than the Crusades.
