In my early 20s, I had just left my vocal lesson, with the late great Hal Schaefer, singing all the old jazz standards. Tony Bennett introduced me to my first Moscato at Sal Anthonys restaurant on Irving Place in Manhattan. Sitting alone, Tony waved me over to join him. We spoke about music, phrasing, and the art of the song. A highlight of my life? An understatement. Sending love, comfort, and condolences to Tony's beautiful family and friends. Rest in Power Tony. 🙏❤️🥂 #RIPTonyBennett
