@thearsfamily97 But that’s the point, we don’t merge chaos with our control at all. Football evolves quickly and we HAVE to move with it. We had so many opportunities to take games away from teams this season but instead of being clinical on the counter, we struggled to create anything.

Why do we need to change a style that has won us the EPL and led us to the UCL final? Those players were brought in to give us balance, not make us a chaotic team. Games like Bournemouth away and Villa way we're lost because the games were too chaotic. Control is needed and some of the best teams in the world (PSG, Bayern, Arsenal) merge control and chaos. Barcelona lost to Atletico because they leaned too much into the chaos.

@thearsfamily97 But that’s kind of the point. The change needs to be from an approach perspective. A little less control, a lot more chaos. When you have players who thrive in open space (Gyokeres, Madueke, Eze etc) you need to set up certain scenarios for them. Rogers wouldn’t be my 1st pick.

We face a ton of lowblocks, and Rogers is statistically a worse dribbler than even Martinelli. The only tool he has at breaking lowblocks is his shooting, but we already have Eze and Trossard who are also great shooters. He's also not that great when it comes to breaking down lowblocks via his passing as most of his creative stuff have been in transitions (due to how Emery plays). If we are to get a LW, the most important thing HAS TO be how will this play breakdown lowblocks. It's why I didn't want Gordon or Barcola. The priority should be in low-block settings... Is their passing great? Their crossing? 1v1 dribbling? Shooting? These are all things necessary for beating lowblocks. Then, we can look at other things like speed in open spaces or carrying in transition.

Funny, Chelsea had 74 charges and nothing so serious happened, but suddenly everyone expects the end of the world for Manchester City. That level of obsession only comes when a club dominates football.

I think it really matters HOW you win the league. Arsenal's title has got little to no coverage, no eulogies from the media and no respect from rival fans. There are no dominant victories to talk about, no standout performers and the football they played was largely uninspiring. They were basically the least worst team in the division and in the end, hobbled over the line with some lucky decisions going in their favour. City's farewell for Pep and the players has got significantly more attention.
