@MauLer93 @Nerdrotics I think the Boys will have a secret unannounced 9th episode that will be the real ending. The previous episode 8 will be a virtual simulation inside sages mind that she will then realise cannot occur, and will then flash back and we get the good ending.

GoT, Stranger Things & The Boys didn't just "end bad" they went to shit way earlier. The blame hits the final season because once it's out, fans can no longer imagine how it's all going to make sense with later episodes, despite many previous seasons being shit too.

James Cameron converting Aliens to 3D is peak Hollywood laziness. The original is a raw, practical-effects masterpiece that doesn’t need his Avatar gimmicks slapped on it. Just admit you can’t write anything new that isn’t blue people flying around, Jim. Cash grab of the decade incoming 😂

You're able to say all this and still love the medium. Anyone who says otherwise isn't as invested in it succeeding. VR was always my bread and butter, but the truth is that for every mind blowing experience I've had inside VR, there are dozens of flat experiences that were just as enthralling on their own merits. SOMA, Subnautica, Portal, Control, and I know a couple of those have VR ports, but the point is that those games made money. I don't know what it is about VR that encourages garage built titles that walk like AAA titles but talk like something else. It's especially confusing when you look at Vertigo 2 - a title that's every bit as good as Alyx and was mostly made by one guy. The issue has to be that anyone and everyone is invited to make games, but some of the greats wouldn't have found traction without the community that struggles through the bad ones. It's a rough situation.

Yet another new vr game that feels untested, poor to play and I can’t even bring myself to make a video for this one. I have emailed the developers my issues but while I was writing to them, I can’t help but think the issues I listed are just normal stuff I have experienced countless times and reported on for years. It’s not released yet so I can’t share what it is, but it’s getting extremely tiresome and makes me worry about virtual reality gaming. I want vr indies to seize this current change in gaming where they can have the main stage. Gamers are really looking for gameplay as top priority, but these games need to have a reasonable level of polish. 20 minutes in and I was done. Something needs to change.
