Why do cars keep bobbing up and down on Indian highways? You can clearly notice it from the way the camera shakes in both videos! Even on one of the biggest expressways the Amritsar–Jamnagar Highway the ride feels bumpy. Honestly, it seems like we still haven’t mastered maintaining proper straightness and leveling. You don’t usually see this kind of unevenness on six-lane highways in many other countries. We need to admit that we still have a lot to improve when it comes to highway engineering!

That’s the problem in India we build structures before infrastructure. I’ve been travelling on the Bharatmala Expressway for the past few days, and yesterday in 500 km there wasn’t even a single proper ladies’ washroom. Found one, but it wasn’t working. We build massive highways, but what about basic amenities? Who cares. Forget food stops at least a clean washroom is essential. Ironically, these highways even lead to 7-star hotels and private properties, yet the approach and basic facilities on the way are just unimaginable! @NHAI_Official

The only difference between 2019 and now is the amount of cash I am holding vs 2019. Cash is a position . Takes cycles to understand.

Getting married sounds stupid as fuck until you see a single man in his 60s Go home alone, read a book, only one light on in the house, no goofy kids visiting for the holidays Suddenly a dumb argument with a pleasantly plump aging wife twice a week doesn't seem so bad

Vietnam taught me something India keeps missing about food. There are problems with Indian food. This is me eating a bánh mì (a french baguette turned into Vietnamese sandwhich) filled with vegetables and some meat. Almost every staple dish there (pho, spring rolls, stir-fries) is loaded with vegetables + a solid protein source by default. A pho (filled with noodles, soup, meat and vegetables) is so satiating that you don’t need anything for 3-4 hours. Plus it’s super low in calories. Protein + vegetables isn’t a ‘health choice’ there. It’s just how food is built. That’s the difference. Indian food isn’t unhealthy because of spices or tradition. It’s unhealthy because it’s grain heavy, vegetable less, protein optional and overcooked. Too much rice or roti. Too little fiber. Vegetables boiled to a point where they lose a lot of their nutrients. When balance is built into the cuisine, people don’t need discipline. When it isn’t, people need constant control. Health isn’t just personal responsibility. It’s a cultural design.

Kishore Bhaina says he sells ~200 kg mutton daily at his hotel. That’s massive volume. Can you imagine the profit margin!! Rough guess: ~₹1 lakh/day profit. That’s ₹30 lakh/month. The scale of local food businesses is often underestimated.

Unused money devalues.  Unused talent diminishes.  Unused potential decays.  Unused machinery disintegrates.  Unused time dies.  Unused knowledge becomes a burden. The tragedy of life isn’t the ultimate death, but resources that die within you when you are still alive. Use it, or you will lose it. -Unknown

Tomorrow, 28th March is a day of immense importance for the people of Uttar Pradesh and the NCR. Phase I of Noida International Airport will be inaugurated. This will boost commerce and connectivity. It will ease congestion at the IGI Airport in Delhi. The Noida airport is among the key greenfield projects in our nation. In addition to passenger services, it will have a robust cargo ecosystem thus boosting the logistics sector. pib.gov.in/PressReleseDet…

The beautiy of Bengaluru darshinis is that all the food is made in front of you - visible to you - served hot, so you are assured of safety of food, hygiene & cleanliness ; it's the biggest reason people from all income strata eat there

Going to Thailand and only visiting Bangkok, Pattaya, Krabi, and Phuket is basically like going to Goa and just hitting Baga, Calangute, and Anjuna. It’s the same Indian crowd, loud uncles, and everyone making a mess. The locals don’t even like us there because we’ve completely ruined the vibe of those places.

One of the best books I've read: Think on These Things by Krishnamurti. It's a book you can re-read the moment you finish it. If you want to think clearly and build a life on your terms, there is no book more important. I shared my favourite lessons from the book on my youtube channel (link below)
