We have normalized living with feeling stressed and anxious all the time. This one simple practice can help you feel in control again. One of the fastest ways to shift out of it is by practicing Coherent Breathing What is it? A simple breathing pattern where inhale = exhale This helps your body move into rest, digest, repair mode. How to practice: Start anywhere either by sitting, lying down, even you can do it at your desk. • Relax your shoulders and unclench your jaw • Place one hand on your chest, one on your belly (optional) Now begin: • Inhale slowly through your nose → 1…2…3…4 • Exhale slowly through your nose → 1…2…3…4 No holding your breath. No force. Just keep the breath smooth, quiet, and rhythmic After a minute or two: • Let your breath naturally deepen • Belly should rise on inhale, fall on exhale If it feels easy, shift to: • 5–5 count or 6–6 count. What it does: • Calms heart rate • Helps lower blood pressure • Reduces anxiety & stress • Brings your body back to balance Just 3–5 minutes a day can reset your system. Sometimes, the fastest way to calm your body is by breathing slowly. #stress #anxiety #difficulttimes #breath #mind #brain
