@Biod4Schools @biofuelslaw Well, the term is *moot* point, but I digress. Take the economics out of it - it still doesn't make it a drop in fuel. RD is the same ASTM spec as ULSD which is what makes it drop in. Biodiesel does not have the same ASTM spec, therefore its NOT a drop in.

I had a spat yesterday with @Biod4Schools, who was insistent that #biodiesel is a drop-in fuel and that his position was supported by leading biodiesel experts. I’m unwavering on this. Biodiesel is NOT a drop-in fuel. Renewable diesel is. 👍 Please weigh in if you wish.

@Biod4Schools @biofuelslaw An obscure pipeline that *might* allow B5(!!) hardly qualifies biodiesel as a drop in fuel. Show me a commercial petroleum pipeline that will allow you to ship B100 and you will have changed my (and others') view on this.
