@RTaub_ This isn’t a high percentage shot. Goalie has angle and no screen. Unless it’s on the ice odds are he catches it no rebound. Noah waited a bit too long to pass then made a bad pass.

@DynoDangle Petgrave started to lean on Johnson’s teammate. Their skates clipped, so as Johnson began to go down he put his leg up to try to balance himself and stay on his feet. Doesn’t look like much but it really doesn’t take much. I’ve been in a similar spot before.

Having seen the incident in question - I'm not sure how it was an accident?
The opposing player looks like they kicked their leg in the air after a collision.
Obviously for those of you who have played the game at a high level, did that look accidental?

I can assure you that Petgrave wasn’t trying to kick Johnson, he was just trying to hold himself up and it was a series of extremely unfortunate events.

I pointed out details that many probably wouldn’t notice, but I don’t expect them to notice if they haven’t played.

Skate cuts are one of the most horrific injuries in sports.
Such a freak accident and could happen to anyone at anytime. Pewee hockey players, beer leaguers, NHL stars. That could have been any of us.
