This evening, I spoke with the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. New Zealand condemns Iran’s attacks on Qatar and its Gulf neighbours. Both our countries agree on the importance of de-escalating this crisis, with His Highness and I exchanging views on a return to diplomacy. I thanked His Highness for the way in which Qatar has provided for the safety of New Zealanders during the course of Iran’s terrifying attacks. Kiwis who wish to leave now have a range of options to depart Qatar.

🚨 Australian PM Albanse threatened & chased from Sydney Mosque. Firstly this was a tactical mistake note his protection team are nervous & have no shoes on, this is major security & safety breach. You can hear the angry folks sreeeching threats & abuse at PM @AlboMP & @Tony_Burke with the usual "Allahu Akbar" for good measure. Lets not forget the Bondi Beach Islamic terrorists were both radicalized in Sydney. Sydney has also had multiple Islamic hate preachers.
