I don’t feel mocked. I simply feel sad for you — because I genuinely don’t understand $SGMO or any other pessimists and haters with no skin in the game. I don’t understand this behaviour from a value perspective, not from a rational one, and least of all from a human one. I hope I’m very wrong, but your life at least seems miserable — or something really bad must have happened to you — if you feel the urge to mock and hate on those who simply don’t share your opinion. As always, I’ll be fully transparent: I am disappointed with Sangamo’s progress on pain and on deals. I expected first pain data by April, and that expectation shaped a prior value estimate of mine. It didn’t materialise on that timeline. That’s life. Deals fall through. Catalysts slip. That’s the risk you accept when you take a position. My thesis remains intact — nothing has materially changed from my last evaluation. The risk-reward keeps improving as the share price lowers while the pipeline, development, and multiple potential deals are very likely progressing. I see 5 potential tech license catalysts, 5 asset partnership catalysts, 2 data catalysts, and 1 regulatory catalyst. We essentially need only 1-2 hits for a material re-rating. I consider that a highly favourable asymmetric opportunity. That’s why I keep adding. That’s just my perspective and my approach though. Everyone is entitled to their own.
