The Spring game was a good take - and with two-thirds of #TheCursiveU present we thought we’d share our observations. It was a glorified scrimmage. We didn’t expect to see anything earth-shattering, nor would we share anything as such.   No changes visibly inside #TheJunkyard.   The @batchicecream truck was present. Outside, there is a rotary being constructed at University Avenue & Amity Street. That should make it safer and allow for some different vehicular traffic control. Anyway… We liked what we saw from the QB room. Pop and RJ showed how they are both dual threats. Loved the ball that Perry threw to TY. Pop has some serious swagger. Big fan of Justin Williams-Thomas, and he definitely looks the part of a veteran back. Jordan Washington wasn't available, but he was running stairs during pregame. This group will have a number of guys contribute this fall; Joe Griffin, Devin Matthews, KDJ, and T.Y. Harding will create opportunities to go down the field.   TE group looks good - lots of returning production - Max Dowling is really good.   OL was light, few players not dressed, we think all precautionary.   The defense, looks bigger and faster. Love TJ Magee being back and healthy, the DL group is vey deep - new FBS bodies everywhere, Aubrey Melvin really sneaky quick and strong at DT, William DePaepe has incredible length on the edge.   We saw a few portal and high school commits checking out the scene - Seamus McIntyre, TK Davis, Kai Owens & Matt Tybor - and ready to enroll in a few weeks. William & Mary OT transfer Greg Klingensmith is HUGE and absolute Mountain of a Man. It'll be interesting to see how the OL shakes out by the end of the summer.
