Gengar is the perfect Pokémon. He’s essential to every trainer’s starting 6, with a versatile and unpredictable moveset. If he’s taken damage? Hypnosis —> Dream Eater will put your opponent to sleep, suck their HP, and replenish yours. With the right trainer, he can’t be killed. Not to mention he’s immune to normal, fighting, and ground-type moves, rendering even the strongest Pokémon like Machamp absolutely useless. Beyond his obvious tactical advantages, Gengar’s aesthetic is big and menacing, but at the same time, virtually nonexistent — a ghost with a grin. He’s dark purple, which represents luxury, power, wisdom, and… mystery. Gengar is shrouded in lore, rumored to be Clefable’s shadow. Nicknamed the “trickster entity,” his presence is marked by a sudden drop in temperature. He’s literally “chill af” Oh and the only way to get Gengar was with a link cable & a homie (through a trade). His evolution wasn’t possible through level-grinding, only kinship. Gengar is king

@RGIII Most likely a ball. But how many times has a ref in all sports made a call that affected a game like this? It’s simple, don’t put yourself in a situation where you’re losing and need a ton of help to win. DR had multiple chances to tie/win and they couldn’t do it

Imagine a Pokemon game where you start in Kanto and travel through 6 regions, ending in Kalos. Kanto ->Johto -> Hoenn -> Sinnoh -> Unova -> Kalos After completing each region, you must lock in one Pokemon from that journey. By the time you reach Kalos, you’ll have 6 locked Pokemon… And that becomes your final battle team. Your entire adventure decides your champion squad. The final battle? Professor Oak - who became a professor after completing the Pokedex and catching every Pokemon from every region.

@richard_normal I think it’s significantly easier to stack than poison and makes the battles easier. A full room build was so much easier than a full poison build

my only complaint with STS2 is that i think the doom mechanic is straight up bad. it’s just worse poison, which is already not particularly good.
