@bryce_spalding I’ve felt that was the only play for quite a while, given the lack of any real movement in extending T Steve. Other than bringing in a one year placeholder FA next season, what other choice is there?

I have a warm take.. The #Reds should promote Duno to AA, sooner than later, and have him finish in AAA with the thought he is in the big leagues next season. He is comfortably, a top 20 prospect in MLB, and regardless of position, the bat will play. Push him.
