At this rate, Crimson Desert might reach a 9.0 user rating in metacritic sooner or later. Going from a 7.7 score on launch day to 8.5 in a single week proves that Crimson Desert starts off quite rough and then gets better as you're playing it. The open world is also not shallow but filled with tons of things to do and is genuinely quite fun to play, especially once you get used to the controls. The devs also seem to be working quite fast in releasing frequent patches to make the game significantly better.
