Wealthsimple settled Visa card transactions in USDC. First Canadian financial institution to do it. The stablecoin headline misses the real story. Settlement that took a day collapsed to minutes because they went around the existing rails, not through them. Banks won't catch this with more compliance hires.

The cash secured puts I spammed on $HYPE that expire tomorrow had me a little nervous. Now I wish this news came out later. 😂 Oh well. My csp spamming strategy stays undefeated.

hyperliquid:native gained $2.2 bn today in outstanding market cap today (570mm tokens of outstanding supply x $4 gain). That's 15x the add'l ~$150mm of earnings HYPE will earn via the new USDC / Coinbase / Circle deal. The market is assigning a 15x multiple to the new income stream for HYPE, yet the business as a whole trades at 27x ($22 bn on $800mm revenue), and $CRCL somehow trades at 30x earnings, even though they are losing $150mm of earnings from this since they keep paying it all to Coinbase and now Hyperliquid. Wild stuff

I'm bullish $ETH as any good little Ethereum soldier should be, but I have to say ETH price action does not look super great here. ETH/BTC ETH/SPX ETH/QQQ ETH/TOTAL ETH.D all look pretty weaksauce I think this is the #Bitcoin show right now and while ETH may follow in USD terms (a rising lifts all boats and so forth), but unless ETH starts leading in the cross-pairs it runs the risk of rolling over hard on the first big $BTC pullback. The silver lining is sometimes these bitcoin rallies can morph into eth led rallies as capital rotates from lower to higher beta (i.e. risk-on), which is what we'll want to start seeing sooner rather than later.
