I follow some of the most amazing and interesting people on X. If you're reading this and I follow you, I mean you—you're awesome. But apparently X does not find you interesting or awesome, so they hide you from me. What they replace you with is some random thirst trap that none of us have interacted with or reposted. X seems to think that I would rather be greeted by some random blonde's image from an account probably run by some fat, cigar-smoking slob with a hairy back—despite my notifications having all the quality filters enabled. Honestly, @X @nikitabier @elonmusk, you can do better.

X used to be the Wild West of social media, which made it fun. Crazy communities, post what you want with few rules and have great conversations. Now you’re locked into categories, can’t share certain videos, don’t get marked as an aggregator and absolutely don’t insult X employees, they will take revenge. My For You is dark and boring. The categories suck, your community is buried soon to be gone and paying users are shadow banned. It’s still the best social media platform, imo, but it’s heading in the wrong direction.

Fewer than 3 years. That’s all the time we have left. If we lose 2026, we are likely to lose 2028. Our Republican Senate majority hasn’t passed any meaningful legislation, which means many of President Trump’s policies aren’t codified into law. If a democrat president wins 2028, then these 4 years won’t mean anything. The next Department of Homeland Security Secretary will reopen the border — just like Alejandro Mayorkas did. Then, when democrats regain control of the Senate, they will nuke the filibuster & pass legislation to implement automatic mail-in ballots in all 50 states. Ballot harvesting will be the law of the land. They will stack the Supreme Court, add 2 new democrat Senators with the creation of DC as a state, & establish a permanent democrat majority. We have the power to stop this, but the question is whether or not @LeaderJohnThune wants to be remembered as a hero or a villain.

@ScottPresler We know he won't, it would be better to replace Thune and get someone in that would carry out the will of 83% of the American people, rather than Democrat agenda.

Personally, I’m glad you were willing to entertain and post—you were often a bright spot in a feed full of noise and negativity. But X made personnel changes in key places that have made this place worse, not better, and I find myself logging in less and less. Still, I’m glad I logged in today to see you’re still here. So all I can say is hang in there, maybe somewhere along the way things will change for the better again.

This place has become too toxic to be any fun. I started posting dog videos when I gave up my career as a web developer to take care of my elderly parents and become a full-time caregiver. It became a side gig that brought me joy and smiles to millions. I never removed watermarks, never claimed I created all the videos I’ve posted and never called myself a creator. My real life is being of service to my parents 24/7, that live hundreds of miles apart. I used to hold spaces, run a community and find stuff to post while going through the most painful experience of my life. Since January X has promoted giant accounts that post the same news over and over, the community I built disappeared and the head of product calls me a fraud for posting dog videos. Friends have been suspended or have just left the platform. People in my comments calling a thief or fraud and awful names. I haven’t been paid for subscriptions in 3 months and have been demonetized. The people running this place are too arrogant to realize they are destroying the place. I’m sorry I entertained you.
