I am curious about what the fans think about two recently drafted players. Back to back years Giants fans have heard the Giants secured the best defensive player in the draft. Who was a better prospect Carter or Reese? Will either of these players have DPOY qualities? Who will make the biggest impact in 2026? Did the Giants need an off ball linebacker?

Reese resembles those strong handed Ravens Defenders i was always wanted. I was not on Carter hype train - i felt his frame was a little small and he got knocked on his ass a few x

@RivenMusicPro @NYGiantsRush Probably the most undervalued thing Harbaugh and his staff will bring to the Giants is being able to develope the young guys to be pros. Harbaugh is a leader of men. Carter just needs to mature and I believe Harbaugh will bring the best out of our young guys!

@NYGiantsRush According to the NFL’s website, they are equal. Reese will likely have the bigger impact because of the upgrade he brings to the second level of the defense.

Hardly a surprise given his struggles the past few seasons.   Essentially the Giants declined to pick up an option that would have put Banks under contract in 2027 for $12.633 million. Instead, he’s fighting for playing time with second-round pick Colton Hood and free-agent signing Greg Newsome in his way.
