Turner was brilliant, better kicker than Russell out of hand, a master goalkicker off either foot & brilliant tactically. As Spike Watkins used to say about PT, he was like a top snooker player reading the game 7 or 8 shots ahead.

Huge thanks to @NHS111Wales for fantastic and prompt treatment yesterday. Developed another case of cellulitis in my leg which in the past has led to me being hospitalised on a drip. An hour and a half after 1st phone call I was seen by a doctor at Royal Glam Hosp. 🙏

Feel for the players and staff at @ospreys. Knowing what it’s like to find out about your future via Wales Online, while being kept in the dark by the suits running the club. Once again, no one has the courage to stand up and be honest about what’s really going on. As for Y11, the so-called “global sports management experts” — cowardly leadership from day one, nowhere to be seen when it matters. The real problem with Welsh rugby is people clinging to jobs, hiding in the shadows, and turning a blind eye just to stay on the gravy train.

So very sad to hear of the death in Thailand of former Wales hooker Mike “Spike” Watkins. A lionhearted player and great character - the best captain I ever played under. The type of bloke I thought would live forever. RIP 🙏
