@TheBattleKids I already own the games. I just rip the roms so that I can play them easier on PC, or mod them. OOTMM is a great randomizer, and I can't get that experience via vanilla gameplay; nor can I play romhacks like Pokemon Unbound or Super Mariomon without emulation.

Is there a reason for when people emulate, their first instinct are to run Nintendo games?

@ramranchenjoy @linkgamer64 You can technically navigate it with a normal xbox controller. You hold the xbox button to interact with the desktop. It's just stupid because that'll also just turn off the controller if you hold it for too long.

Having political themes is VERY different to being outright political. Look at Helldivers 2. Probably one of the most obvious games in recent history of having political themes, but its all satire. No one is trying to inject ideologies, its just part of the silly “Super Earth” narrative. Games like ‘1348 Ex Voto’, ‘Dragon Age The Veilguard’, ‘Horizon Hunters Gathering’, and we can’t forget ‘Concord’, are prime examples of people trying to insert political ideologies into games with no valid reason. Having a fat ugly robot with pronouns or forced dialogue like “um actually my pronouns are this, not this” has no positive impact on the game and is purely for political reasons.

Dangerous question time ⚠️ Do you find 'gaming' culture, in general, leans more to the right or left wing, ideologically. Not, which way do YOU lean, but based on your time in the hobby, which side do you seem to encounter more often.

@JoshStrifeHayes Honestly thats a very good question. Ordinarily I’d say central. Games have never been political until recently where people have started trying (and massively failing) to inject left wing ideologies into games, and this is simply a fact that cannot be argued

The morality system in it was also extremely basic and mostly just adjusted your appearance. This fable we don't really know how the morality system works since it's a reputation system in the game.
