@TheFridge24 @BarDown 1) Teams that are legit bad remain bad for longer periods of time because they are stuck in a cycle of coming in last place & not get better. 2) It encourages bubble teams that know they likely won't win the playoffs to intentionally miss so that they can get an elite prospect

Incredible first four days of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The goalie play has been phenomenal and amount of sick saves we’ve seen already has been insane. 9 out of first 15 games were 1-goal games. Two 2-goal games had ENG with under 2:00 left. Three OT games and one 2OT game.

I don’t hate fighting as much as some might think. But honestly, what was the point of this? No hit to answer for. Lines disrupted so can’t get into a rythym, and if your team needed this to get energized at puck drop game 1 then you don’t deserve to be in the playoffs.
