If I don't know 'komyushou,' reading "Komi" on screen gives 0% more context than hearing it. It’s "lost" to the viewer either way

@anime_daily Subs are the only options. Dubs are for retards only, people too stupid to read, yes, if you claim "the subs are going too fast" you absolutely are retarded, your brain is shit and that's it. Also dubs make everything sound like a parody.

@Autonomous20893 @anime_daily just learn a language. it's really not that hard. Anime is written in japanese. its dialogue is in japanese, you lose story, connotations, subtext, emotion, etc. when you switch to a different language. Dubs try to emulate it. key word being tries.
