HISTORY'S BIGGEST CRACKDOWN ON HONEST CITIZENS Important Context The Liberal Party of Canada's criminalization of hundreds of thousands of government-licensed firearm owners is the BIGGEST CRACKDOWN against honest citizens by any democracy in history ... outside of war.

Ottawa has no idea if its gun grab will make Canadians safer. The CTF asked Public Safety for “all analysis from the department on the efficacy of the assault style firearms compensation program and its effect on crime rates/public safety.” The department advised that “no information related to your request exists.” The feds should scrap this program instead of wasting potentially billions on something that won't work. taxpayer.com/newsroom/ottaw…

Strong words of warning were issued to Carney's federal government over the weekend by Alberta Premier Danielle Smith ( @ABDanielleSmith / @Alberta_UCP ) during her keynote address at the Canada Strong and Free Network Conference ( @canstrongfree ) in Ottawa. Speaking to a packed audience, Smith received loud applause as she reiterated Alberta’s refusal to participate in the Carney government’s firearms confiscation initiative, commonly referred to as the “gun-grab” program to the victimized, the 'buy-back' to the uninitiated. The Premier stated that Alberta will not assist in enforcing the program, emphasizing that provincial law enforcement resources should instead be directed toward violent crime and public safety priorities. Smith also issued a pointed warning regarding enforcement activity within Alberta, stating that any individuals attempting to seize firearms from Albertans without proper authorization could face legal consequences, including arrest. Her remarks underscored an increasingly sharp divide between the rest of Canada and Carney’s prioritization of small but vocal special interest groups on firearms policy, with Smith framing the issue as one of jurisdiction, lawful ownership, and common-sense enforcement priorities — not the targeting of lawful citizens based on ideology, emotion, and lifestyle differences.

@CCFR_CCDAF Such a shame. It was the creativity of companies like ATRS, NEA, Wolverine, and a variety of others that paved the way for our unique gun culture. The Liberal desire to prevent "American-style gun culture" is just killing Canadian gun culture.

It's really hard to take this government's whole "build things in Canada, buy Canadian" schtick seriously when it's still pursuing an entirely useless gun ban that isn't doing anything except killing the Canadian gun industry.

WATCH: @SKGov amends law to bypass the Liberals gun grab, effectively shielding lawful gun owners from federal overreach & uncompensated seizure. Chief Nogier of @PAPoliceService praised the change which allows police to stay focused on criminals, not law-abiding citizens. 🌾🇨🇦

There are over 350 million legally owned guns in the United States and Canada. Seriously, if we were the problem you’d know it.

"If you don't respond to this email within 5 days of this going to your spam folder, we're not giving you any money and we still want your gun". The point was always to get a registry of who has what, and then to cheat them out of payments.

They also can’t handle more than 4 firearms at a time. Some people have dozens on the list, and more. This is weird. They’ll need multiple appointments. JUST WITHDRAW!!! 🇨🇦👊🏻 firearmrights.ca/withdraw-from-…

The Waterloo Regional Police, currently the only service in Ontario participating in firearm confiscation efforts, is set to receive $899,300 in funding. While other police services across the province have not adopted similar measures or identified clear public safety benefits, Waterloo remains the sole participant in the initiative. Politics and cash before public safety. @CanadasNFA

@TheGunBlog The Waterloo Region has about 800 firearms declared for confiscation. That works out to $1,100 per gun just for the police to collect them. Unbelievable.

The SK Government, with the SK Firearms Commissioners Office provide an update on their amendments to the SK Firearms Act. TL/DR: they will be issuing appraisal certificates to affected gun owners so they can persue fair compensation and reject the offers from the ASFCP. This also stalls the program itself while they hash it out. They will also be providing exemption certificates to affected owners to protect them from criminality out past the amnesty. This is huge. They get to keep their guns without fear of criminal charges. The SK Chiefs of Police Assoc. fully supports this and thanks the SK government for doing this, and allowing them to focus on fighting crime instead of grabbing guns. facebook.com/share/v/18e9LL…
