A change in terminology can drastically change the outcome.

Adjusting your stance to match a pitcher's arm slot is about finding the best position to see the ball without changing your swing. Use your setup to track the ball's path and stay in a position where you can still work uphill through the zone

Master the barrel pendulum. Focus on a pivot point to create slow hand speed with fast barrel speed. Don't use a "death grip"—let the barrel rotate and release for a powerful whip.

Stop flaring your ribs and pushing your hips in, which pulls your chest and shoulders away from the ball and creates a steep swing. Instead, keep your body "along for the ride" and swing from a strong, stable position without trying to manipulate the barrel.
