I just think its BS. He committed the penalty in college not the NFL. He got punished by the NCAA. The NFL shouldn't feel compelled to double punish him.

I can't remember the NFL ever denying a player entry to the supplemental draft. They've let guys in who were ruled ineligible because of drugs (Josh Gordon), NCAA rule-breaking (Terrelle Pryor) and grades (Ahmad Brooks), over and over. Clearly, the NFL is drawing a line here.

@TheHuddleReport @MoveTheSticks Has it been a problem the last 3 years? We’ve all trusted the outcomes of those games right? I just don’t think the sport is destroyed like people are making it out to be. A lot of political grandstanding happening by ADs and conferences and it’s just gross.

I’ve never had an issue paying players- above or under the table. It is what is. But you can’t bet on your own sport & team as a CFB player. That sets a very dangerous precedent. No other way to say it. I’m not saying he can’t have an NFL career but there has to be some meaningful punishment here.
