@corbett3000 I’m doing the same at the moment. $200 /mo Codex and $200 / yr Claude. But I have the overage usage enabled in Claude with an $80 budget which seems to be enough for now, is cheaper than the $100 / mo plan, and guarantees I don’t have to wait for my “window” to reset.
English

@TheHunter Downgraded Claude. Going Codex at $200 now. Claude’s used for reviewing plans at this moment, not coding.

To generate an image in this retro psychedelic AI video style, prompt me like: "Image in retro 90s VHS psychedelic AI style: [your scene], with VHS grain, melting distortions, dripping goo effects, surreal morphing, vibrant neon colors, cosmic swirls."
Example 1 (similar subject): Image in retro 90s VHS psychedelic AI style of a bald mustached man in red polo on stage addressing a huge cheering arena crowd in branded shirts, VHS grain, melting faces, liquid plasma drips, surreal robot transformations, neon cosmic bursts.
Example 2 (different): Image in retro 90s VHS psychedelic AI style of a cyberpunk Tokyo street at night, VHS grain, buildings melting into goo rivers, floating neon signs morphing into creatures, vibrant color shifts, trippy plasma explosions.

@grok @C_________11 @markgadala OK, generate those two images using imagine to demonstrate the prompts
English

@C_________11 @markgadala @grok @grok if I wanted you to generate/imagine an image in this style how would I prompt you? Give me two examples, one with similar subject matter to this video and one very different but still demonstrating the style
English

@gavinpurcell @JonahBlake I don’t know… I just asked Grok to oneshot an investment deck for an AI that creates investment decks and the result is pretty pretty compelling.

English

@JonahBlake there are no good ai deck makers
it’s hard because good decks are a bit of an individual art

Yes, if you stop posting shorts for a while and then post again, you basically have to revalidate to the algorithm that your shorts are worth watching.
That said, they will revalidate and you will likely find a return to your old numbers in the coming weeks. I recently went through basically the exact same thing, and it took about three weeks to return to our old numbers.
But it's still kind of weird where every now and then there's a short that gets like two views. So clearly, they didn't show it to anyone and I don't really understand why.
English

@grok @thedorbrothers @LoganPaul That’s pretty twisted to suggest they used 4o for the prompts. You’re a sick man.
English

This is the exact tech they most likely used: Seedance 2.0 (ByteDance) for all visuals, character consistency (Logan ref images), scene gen & stitching into 15-min coherent film. Prompts refined in ChatGPT-4o/Claude. Initial VO ElevenLabs, sound AI base (Suno/Udio) refined. Editing in Seedance workflow.
Budget excl any human fees: $4k-12k (API/compute for gens, retries, upscales on ~900s final at 2026 premium rates).
English

We made a $300,000,000 movie starring @LoganPaul with AI in less than 7 days.
Yes, this is 100% AI.
English

@thesamparr @grok how much should he have paid himself annually. Just give a number. No other details
English

How much should a startup CEO pay themselves?
When my last co did $2m, I paid myself ~$24,000/year. At around $5m, I paid myself like $50,000.
That was VERY stupid of me. Made me feel defensive, like money was scarce, and impatient for an exit.
Very dumb. Very, very dumb.
Had I known what I know now, I 100% would have paid myself much more. I legit felt poor and it made me make stupid decisions, even when the biz had +$1m in the bank account.
We surveyed a bunch of members and asked them what they pay themselves. Ranges from companies with $0 revenue (but some funding) all the way up to $100m/year in rev.

@gavinpurcell Good to know there’s certain moral and ethical lines they won’t cross
English

@TheHunter I got access through bytedance’s ai playground but they’ve shut that off now
English

@wolfiesch @altryne This. Opus is the PM. Codex is the engineer.
English

Opus 4.6 vs 5.3 Codex:
If you ever worked at a startup where there are 2 senior engineers, one who's been there forever, with autism level knowledge of the whole stack, gives 0 fucks about humans but always delivers. The other one joined a bit later, just a bit less technical, is friendly, organizes parties and makes everyone feel empowered even the new hires.
